Douglas J. Singleton

An Indiana native, Doug has watched the landscape of Indianapolis evolve and boom over the past four decades. He is now helping to shape that landscape as the President of Singleton Companies, a commercial real estate development organization operating in Central Indiana for more than 35 years.

 

Before focusing on the real estate world, Doug was focused on developing his perspective on the rest of the world. A graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in International Politics, he served as a Presidential Appointee in the U.S. Department of State in the Office of the Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security. 

 

Transitioning from a global relationship-building focus to one closer to home, Doug moved to Chicago and earned his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management with concentrations in Real Estate and Finance. He honed his real estate knowledge working for respected national development companies Jones Lang LaSalle and Tri-Land properties.

 

Now bringing more than a decade of experience and management skills, and having the commitment that comes with being a second-generation family business owner, Doug is enjoying growing Singleton Companies. Likewise, he and his family are enjoying being part of the growing Indianapolis community.
